Perhaps my response to Governor Rick Perry's secessionist remarks was so heated because after three years of avid viewing of "Friday Night Lights" I have come to worship the Lone Star State from afar...so much so that I might contemplate actually getting on a plane (I detest flight) to go visit the place...as long as they're still part of the Union...
Texas deserves better!
